Northline Consulting
The Northline Group works with builders, remodelers, developers, and distributors who want more than a product rep — a partner who understands how materials, logistics, and installation actually fit together in the field.
About
I'm a business development and operations strategist who builds systems that drive real growth — in construction, design, and the spaces where those worlds overlap.
Over the past two decades, I've worked across every layer of the building industry — from managing distribution networks and multimillion-dollar sales divisions to launching international product lines and optimizing logistics from import to installation. I've been the person who built the channel, trained the team, negotiated the contracts, and figured out why things weren't moving — and then fixed it.
As Director of Fibo Sales for the Pacific Northwest and Mountain Regions at PG Long, I built a market from zero. That meant creating distribution systems, dealer networks, SOPs, and brand assets that turned an unknown European product into a high-growth solution for developers, remodelers, and architects across the western United States — with no existing demand, no trained installers, and no established channel to start from.
Now, as the founder of The Northline Group, I channel that experience into helping companies operate smarter — aligning people, process, and product so businesses can scale without the chaos that usually comes with growth.
If your goal is to build better, faster, and smarter, let's talk.
Background
From management trainee at Ferguson to General Manager roles in flooring, stone, and construction operations across the Pacific Northwest — and ultimately to Director of Fibo Sales at PG Long, where a full international product line was launched from zero across the PNW and Mountain Region in under 14 months. Every engagement since has been built on that same foundation: real field experience across distribution, operations, sales leadership, and market development.
What We Do
We build the structure before you hire the people. From segment identification and go-to-market sequencing to compensation design, SOP development, and CRM setup — we help you launch a new sales channel that operates like it's been running for years.
Bringing a foreign product line to North America is a different problem than most distributors expect. We've done it — navigating import logistics, building channel strategy, activating dealer networks, developing installer training, and creating brand assets from scratch.
From early operational systems and vendor relationships to channel strategy and first sales. We help founders and operators build businesses that are structured to grow — not just survive year one.
Who you're selling to, how you're reaching them, what you're saying, and in what order. Built around your actual product, your actual capacity, and the markets where you have a real shot at winning.
Field-ready training for sales teams, dealer networks, and installers. We develop the materials and deliver the sessions — built around how your customer actually buys, not a generic playbook from a different industry.
Strategy-first design and content. We build websites, develop marketing campaigns, and create media assets that match the quality of what you're selling. No generic templates, no filler content, no brand identity that could belong to anyone.
Warehouse setup, logistics optimization, vendor account development, SOP creation, and supply chain problem-solving. If the back end isn't working, the front end won't matter.
We identify, recruit, and activate the right distribution partners — from regional dealers and distributors to national accounts — and build the systems that keep them producing.
Who We Work With
Entering the US or Canadian market for the first time and need channel strategy, market positioning, and operational infrastructure built from the ground up.
Building, restructuring, or expanding their channel strategy — including dealer network activation, sales team development, and go-to-market sequencing.
Scaling operations across the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West who need smarter product systems, streamlined logistics, and reliable field execution.
Modernizing their sales infrastructure, training programs, or go-to-market approach — especially those entering new segments or carrying new product lines.
Building something new in the building materials or construction space who need an experienced partner to help them avoid the costly mistakes of early-stage growth.
European and global manufacturers who need a trusted North American partner to handle market entry, distribution development, and installer training from day one.
We don't do discovery calls that turn into proposals that go nowhere. If there's a fit, we'll know quickly — and we'll tell you either way.
